Alright, What The Hell Now?

Alright, so I have spent weeks questioning myself endlessly on how I can improve, get traffic, and convert on all three of my businesses (trypital.com, ductllc.com, shopfreshcoffee.com). I spent endlessly posting on forums and Reddit just to constantly get my posts banned and received little luck on the posts that didn’t get banned.

I keep questioning myself thinking “oh it must be this feature”, or “it needs this feature” but I know that is the death curse of an entrepreneur. Just adding feature after feature thinking it will solve everything just to say, “oh now it needs this feature” after you add the first feature you thought you needed is deathly (wow, how many times can I use the word feature in a sentence). Believe me, we all have been there.

I need to just buckle up and wait. Just keep content marketing, keep posting, and keep going with it. It can be hard, and believe me if you are reading this and thinking this may be explaining you, IT IS! So with that rant, here are the updates of the week thus far.

Duct: We have been content marketing constantly to little success. We have had some traffic and some sign ups but nothing to crazy.

Pital: I keep questioning the target market and business plan. My two new pivots stand as either a strict data science-driven public market investment research shop or an IndieHackers, Bootstrapped, and No-Code business marketplace/M&A Advisor. Now that I see what I just wrote, wow that sounds a little crazy! But don’t all entrepreneurs?

Rocky Roasters: I am finishing up the website and we ordered the green beans for our first micro-roast, Maui, Hawaii Single-origin. We will be launching the site soon and are accepting pre-signups. We have only received a little but I have hope.

Fresh Coffee: My passion project here probably has the most light from the end of the tunnel. We have been selling decently and are growing MoM so we cannot complain. It is not rampant growth but it is growing nonetheless!

So to sum up the week so far (my birthday week BTW), I have questioned pretty much every single one of my businesses. I tried to pivot each one multiple times only to remind myself once again, stick with it and it will work out!

Hopefully, you are not experiencing the same foggy feelings but if you are, don’t worry, we are in this together!
